By day, this serene enclave welcomes Reserve guests with the quiet sophistication of a private lounge. A dedicated reception desk sits behind a carefully designed layer of open shelving, enriched with handcrafted ceramics, creating privacy without severing the connection to the room. Walnut wood panelling, upholstered chairs, and local artisan textures create an ambience of calm, understated luxury. Neutral tones and soft lighting allow the space to act as a seamless extension of the hotel’s interior language, while details such as a curated wine display and bespoke furnishings signal that this is a destination apart.
The layout is organised around a central buffet, conceived with a restrained, neutral material palette that allows the cuisine itself to become the focal point. The rear wall is clad in green glazed tiles whose shifting reflections subtly recall the tones of the Atlantic. Above, a suspended timber slatted bottle rack introduces warmth and a crafted presence to the space.
Herringbone wood flooring anchors the dining room, while built-in banquettes create intimate settings within the open-plan layout. A soft blend of local craftsmanship and natural materials anticipates the slower rhythm of the evening dining experience without resorting to overt thematic gestures.
The terrace extends the experience outdoors with deliberate restraint. Open to privileged views of the sea, it is furnished with a discreet and functional design language that creates places to sit, gather, and dine while allowing the landscape to remain the true protagonist.
As dusk falls, the space transforms. The lighting softens, the energy shifts, and Mahos by Night emerges. Curated exclusively for this venue by Michelin-starred Canarian chef Germán Ortega, this Fuerteventura culinary concept introduces a more layered and ceremonial atmosphere to the same space. The Reserve’s muted tones become the backdrop for a gastronomic experience that reinterprets Fuerteventura’s traditions through a contemporary culinary approach. Materials, furniture, and artworks remain, but the ritual of dinner transforms their presence.
Even the restrooms echo the same design language. Handcrafted finishes, timber accents, selected artwork, and soft natural light create spaces that feel refined yet grounded, where even the most functional areas remain part of the overall spatial experience.
Across its different rhythms, from the privacy of a daytime lounge to the ceremony of Mahos by Night, the space adapts without losing its own identity. Rooted in the design ethos of Paradisus and in the character of Fuerteventura, it becomes a place where guests feel fully immersed in the destination.
