Conceptually, the design evokes the sensation of rising into a palm canopy above the city, gently removed from its urban pulse. The space opens to uninterrupted views of the Maldivian Sea, blurring the edge between the built environment and the open sky. Light filters through louvred pergolas, casting shifting shadows that mimic the movement of leaves in the wind.
The atmosphere remains soft and understated. Pale-toned linen, rope, and powder-coated metal furnishings echo natural textures without competing with the view. Accents in coral, turquoise, and bronze bring depth and contrast, while lush planters anchor the terrace with greenery. A bar clad in blue relief tiles introduces rhythm and vibrancy, grounding the space through pattern and craft.
The lounge offers intimate nooks, open dining areas, and bar seating, each shaped for a different mood yet unified by light and sea breeze. By day, it is a high perch to pause. By night, a glowing canopy under the stars.
