Conceived through the image of the reef, the design translates this underwater landscape into rounded seating forms, tactile surfaces, and soft lighting that pools gently across the room. In selected areas, richly textured wallcoverings wrap around the seating, deepening the sense of immersion and giving each corner a more sheltered, underwater intimacy.

From the ceiling, a school of deep-sea fish, rendered in delicate sculpture, glides outward into the lobby, a luminous current that blurs the boundary between the café and the arrival space. The underwater world is also suggested through layers of texture, touch, and living matter. Natural planting introduces an organic softness that recalls the vegetation moving beneath the sea, while the café bar is wrapped in a scale-like texture that invites a more tactile reading of the concept.

Alimas is more than a café. It is a pause within the flow. A space shaped for quiet mornings and slow afternoons, offering speciality coffee, artisanal pastries, light breakfasts, and vibrant, healthy lunches.

Here, the reef is not scenery but atmosphere. It wraps around you as you enter. It surrounds the guest from the moment of arrival, becoming the first layer from which the rest of the hotel begins to rise.
