The Syndeo restaurant at INNSiDE Doha is conceived as a natural extension of the lobby, reinforcing a continuous spatial narrative across the ground floor. Organised around a monolithic white marble buffet, the space is structured as a series of intimate pockets within an open plan, allowing different dining experiences to coexist.
Structural columns and bespoke hexagonal timber lattices define scale, enclosure, and visual continuity, echoing the lobby's design language and reinforcing visual continuity. Above, a dynamic installation of timber baffles introduces movement and energy, balancing the warmth of the material palette with a more vibrant expression.
The intervention moves away from a colder, industrial aesthetic towards a more domestic and welcoming atmosphere. Metallic lighting fixtures are replaced by ceramic and wood elements, with wood also carried through into the furniture, complemented by a palette of greys and earthy tones that respond to the different rhythms of hotel guests. Furniture plays a key role in diversifying the experience, from relaxed sofa seating that encourages longer stays to strategically positioned high tables that support more dynamic interactions while subtly structuring degrees of privacy within the space.
The experience extends to the terrace, where a lush vertical green wall becomes a defining feature, introducing a biophilic layer that connects interior and exterior.
