Rooted in the Mediterranean essence of the Barceló brand, B·Lounge is conceived as an open and vibrant ground-floor space designed to welcome both guests and locals. The project brings together tradition and contemporary sensibility through a warm material palette, where the expressive textures of trencadís mosaic are balanced by the natural tactility of timber.
The colour scheme, with deep blues, sun-washed oranges, soft greys and warm wood tones, evokes the meeting of sea and desert, shaping a welcoming and sensory atmosphere. The identity of the space is further defined by subtle references to local culture, from expressive Emirati portraits to sculptural elements inspired by desert wildlife.
Designed as a flexible environment, B·Lounge transforms throughout the day: from a relaxed breakfast setting to an informal co-working café, a quiet reading retreat or an intimate venue for live music. Outside, the terrace opens towards the city, establishing a visual connection with a nearby mosque and creating a subtle dialogue between heritage and contemporary life.
